The New York Giants are clearly seeking another young running back to join a backfield that already includes Tyrone Tracy.
Their NFL Draft official '30' visits point to RB as one of their priorities.
And using those visits, it's safe to surmise that the Giants have four running backs most central in their minds.
Arizona State's Cam Skattebo, Ohio State's Quinson Judkins, North Carolina's Omarion Hampton and Oklahoma State's Ollie Gordon have all seen the Giants in recent days.
Skattebo turned into a trendy Heisman contender after a dominant season for the Sun Devils, including in making the College Football Playoff.
Judkins joined the Buckeyes from Ole Miss and was a power runner en route to the national title.
Hampton is regarded by some as the RB2 in this draft behind Boise State's Ashton Jeanty.
Gordon entered the 2024 season as a sleeper Heisman pick, but he struggled. That knocked him way down the draft boards this time around, but the Giants could see untapped potential there based on his college production in previous years.
NFL teams can never have too many running backs, especially on cheap rookie deals.
Whether the Giants draft a young QB or not, it's logical to target a strong rusher in the middle rounds. Looks like it very well could be one of these four guys.
