There has been plenty of buzz about the New York Giants trading back into the first round for a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Though New York holds the No. 3 overall pick, it's becoming less likely that the selection will be used on a quarterback prospect, despite the team's obvious need.
If the Giants take the best player available at No. 3 — or even trade out of the spot — they could look to trade back into the first round later Thursday night with a package that surrounds the No. 34 pick.
While there may be a handful of teams also looking to get back into the first round for a quarterback, the Giants could have a potential trade partner in the Denver Broncos, who own the No. 20 overall pick.
The Broncos have reportedly "fielded calls in recent days from teams interested in potentially moving up to Denver’s No. 20 selection," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Though the Giants haven't been linked to a potential deal with the Broncos, it would make sense considering that selection is one spot ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team also considered to be targeting a quarterback prospect.
The Giants are reportedly split between Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart so it will be interesting to see if New York targets either of them in a trade-up scenario later in the first round.
