Giants' Brian Daboll clearly frustrated with Malik Nabers over concert drama

For the second consecutive game, the NY Giants are going to have to try and post a win without having star wide receiver Malik Nabers out on the field. Brian Daboll revealed that his first-round pick, who suffered a concussion in Week 4, has officially been ruled out.

New York Giants v Seattle Seahawks

With Nabers suffering his head injury more than two weeks ago, it remains a bit surprising that he hasn't been cleared yet. His Week 7 status is unknown at this time. Unfortunately here too, Nabers is making some headlines because he attended a Travis Scott concert earlier in the week.

For someone working their way back from a concussion and still not being cleared, a loud, stadium-packed concert probably wasn't the best place for the youngster to be at. Daboll was asked how he felt about Nabers attending the show. From our chair, it sure seems like he said quite a bit, while only using a few words:

Taking a look at that clip, you can tell Daboll wasn't pleased with Nabers' decision. Unfortunately, loads of headlines are now being made over him attending the concert instead of the focus being around Big Blue taking on Cincy for SNF, with a chance to improve to 3-3 on the year.

As things stand, the Giants are 2-3 and they have a great chance at getting to .500 by the end of the weekend. The Bengals are loaded with talent, but they're 1-4 on the year, with their defense being Charmin soft through the first five games of 2024.

Without Nabers in Seattle, the Giants were able to take down the Seahawks powered by the strong play of Daniel Jones and Darius Slayton. Slayton had 122 receiving yards to his name, plus a touchdown. He'll be looked at to be Jones' top target in primetime once again. As for Nabers, he's expected to be back at MetLife on Sunday night to support his teammates, but we know for sure he won't be playing.
