Rachel Leviss announced that she is now officially a sound bath healer. “So grateful to hold space for healing and stepping into the role of a professional sound healer. Thank you @schoolofsoundhealing for the teachings and @drishtiyogatucson for giving me the opportunity to hold this beautiful sound bath. Here’s to growth and new beginnings!!” she wrote in an Instagram post on March 23.
In the corresponding video, Leviss is seen creating sound waves with multiple bowls and chimes, while attendees lay on the floor.
Leviss got rave reviews from those present and one replied, “This was such a wonderful experience, you did SO well. and the flowers were such a kind gesture. I hope you hope you continue to host here in Tucson!”
Another shared, “You did amazing. I was so relaxed. Thank you for the flowers too!” Leviss answered, “You’re so welcome!! So happy you enjoyed the session.”
Leviss Has Been Working on Being a Sound Bath Healer For Over a Year
Leviss’ sound bath healer career has been in the works for some time. In October 2024, she shared on Instagram, “Yesterday I led my first group sound bath at our recovery group’s self-facilitated renewal retreat.”
“Luckily for me, all 20 people in attendance were friends I met a year and a half ago in recovery, which really took the pressure off of trying to perform perfectly,” she continued.
The former reality star added, “After all, it’s just sharing what calms my mind to those who are seeking to find serenity and connection.”
An expert replied, “Love this … I am a sound bath practitioner. As you get more comfortable you can add a rain stick, a hand held drum (Remo has a great affordable one), and a gong if you ever want to deepen the experience or mix it up. Exciting!”
Leviss Adapted a Healthier Lifestyle After ‘Vanderpump Rules’
Following Scandoval, Leviss made the effort to put her mental health first, which began by entering a facility for three months and making lifestyle changes.
“The dark times were so dark, and it felt like there wasn’t a way out for the longest time. I [decided] I need[ed] to start making better decisions,” she told Us Weekly in August 2024.
She added, “It took time to integrate everything that I learned into my real life, but I feel like I’m finally now able to start living for me.”
Leviss, who moved from Los Angeles to Arizona, told Us Weekly, “I don’t think L.A. is all bad, but being in certain environments could bring out the worst in a person. So now when I go visit Santa Monica, I have new friends and there’s a common theme [such as] spirituality and not drinking. It’s a much healthier social circle that I’m in in L.A.”
The former SUR server also found new friends outside of her “Vanderpump Rules” circle. “I’m about to turn 30 and people that are around me also have been through things in life that have shaped them into the person that they are now. It’s this new level of authenticity,” she said.
Leviss continued, “But I found my group in yoga and there’s just so much love there and it’s so easy to get along with everybody. [It’s] so drama-free and everyone has just been super welcoming.”
