Former Michigan Wolverines, Green Bay Packers Star Defender Makes Big Life Announcement

The Michigan Wolverines and Green Bay Packers are two football institutions with storied histories and a long list of ex-players who have etched their memories into the hearts and minds of the two teams' fans for decades running.

Recently, a former Wolverines and Packers linebacker who once reached All-Big Ten conference heights as an outside linebacker revealed to the world on his social media that he had made a big life decision.

Jake Ryan, who hails from Cleveland, Ohio and was born in Fairview, Ohio, won All-Big Ten honors with Michigan football before being drafted by the Packers in the fourth round in 2015.

Earlier this week, Ryan made his latest big life announcement Instagram official as the 32-year-old former pass rusher extraordinaire shared professional photos of his recent wedding nuptials.

"Oh, I forgot to mention...We got married!" Ryan wrote on his page about his marriage to wife Jessica Ryan.

"We dreamed of an intimate destination wedding, just the two of us," Ryan, who last played in the NFL for the Packers in 2017, continued.

"Even thought the rain tried to make a cameo the day was everything we hoped for - perfectly us in every way."

The ex-Wolverine and Packer was congratulated by former USC Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley, former Wolverines fullback Joe Kerridge and former Wolverines doppelganger Chase Winovich among commenters.
