Former Las Vegas Raiders' high draft pick has found a new home after being cut from the initial 53-man roster

The Las Vegas Raiders haven't been the best team, over the years when it comes to drafting. Several regimes have failed on more than one occasion. Whether it be the Jon Gruden era, where they only really got a few players right, like Maxx Crosby and Josh Jacobs, or the Josh McDaniels era, where we still haven't really seen any players turn into their full potential yet.

One of the players that they really got wrong, respectfully, was Byron Young, the defensive tackle out of Alabama, who was selected in the third round just last year. He's going into his second year and hasn't progressed enough for the Raiders to want to keep him around.

Now, Young gets a fresh start and hopefully, a new home, as he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. The Raiders may have tried to get him back on the practice squad, but he may have wanted to go elsewhere for a fresh start.
