Former Eagles you (probably) forgot about who joined new teams in 2025

Here's as honest a statement as we can make. Since the close of Super Bowl 59, we've lived in a continual stress-free environment. NOTHING has bothered us. Nothing! Seeing the Philadelphia Eagles win a second Super Bowl will do that for you, especially when you're old and can remember many of the heartbreaking moments.

When you've gone from wondering if your team will ever win a Lombardi Trophy to seeing them win two, everything feels like a bonus now. Losing players by way of free agency hasn't affected that, and guess what? The C.J. Gardner-Johnson trade didn't either.

Sure, we hate to see many of those guys go, but hey, that's the business, and as we turn the pages of the calendar. Familiar faces continue to settle into their new homes.

Derek Barnett, Zach Ertz, and Jalen Reagor all re-signed with the Houston Texans, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Chargers respectively. They were among the familiar faces who earned mentions during the first wave of free agency.

There were also the former Eagles you probably forgot about.

Several former Eagles we haven't mentioned in a while found new homes on new teams

So, after the drama, the holdout, and his return to action, Haason Reddick leaves the New York Jets and lands with the hated Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Philly travels to Raymond James Stadium during the 2025-26 NFL season, so as you might imagine, that will be one worth circling.

Several other former Eagles also found new homes and look to add to their football resumes by doing so. We have mentioned these guys in a while, but we still have love for all of them. Here's what they've been up to since we last saw them.

Gardner Minshew - Kansas City Chiefs

The Mustache becomes the latest former Eagle to land with the Kansas City Chiefs as Gardner Minshew signs a one-year deal. That will, in all likelihood, end Carson Wentz's run there as he now looks for his fifth home in as many seasons.

Marcus Epps - New England Patriots

Marcus Epps tore his ACL in Week of the Las Vegas Raiders' season. They moved on, and he joins the New England Patriots on a one-year, $4.4 million contract.

Mack Hollins - Patriots

Mack Hollins joins Epps in Foxborough. They were teammates in Philly for one season (2019). They now renew acquaintances as members of the Pats, and yes, Mack Hollins showed up to his introductory press conference in his bare feet.

Olamide Zaccheaus - Chicago Bears

We liked Olamide Zaccheaus when he was here. Apparently, we liked him more than Philly did and the Washington Commanders did. Both allowed him to walk after a single season.

He's now with Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears. Hopefully, he finds some traction there and some opportunities.

Javon Hargrave - Minnesota Vikings

Javon Hargrave's time in the Bay Area wasn't as productive as his time in Philly. During two seasons, he appeared in 22 games. He notched 61 tackles and nine sacks. Those numbers include three playoff starts.

He lands with the Minnesota Vikings. If they find stability with J.J. McCarthy, they could truly make a lot of noise this season.

Nick Mullens - Jacksonville Jaguars

Sure, no one thinks of Nick Mullens as an Eagle, but he was. He was on the training camp and preseason roster from June 14, 2021 to August 28 of that same calendar year.

His arrival in Jacksonville is his latest in an already-journeyman career that has had stops in San Francisco, Cleveland, Las Vegas, and in Minnesota these past two seasons.

Miles Sanders - Dallas Cowboys

This seems wrong. Miles Sanders is a Pittsburgh native who went to Penn State and began his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sheesh... Pittsburgh... Philly... These are two cities where the words 'Dallas Cowboys' aren't any different than using profanity.

Well, that's life. Sometimes, you go where the money leads you.

Miles's final year in Philly ended with a Pro Bowl nomination. He hasn't been the same player since that happened.

He gets another shot now albeit with an Eagles rival. As much as we love him, it's hard to say, at this juncture, that we wish him luck.

Of all the places he could have landed, he's in Dallas.
