Another former Chicago Bear is set to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Star pass rusher Jared Allen has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Allen spent the majority of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings, where he became a legendary pass rusher and made four All-Pro teams, but he played with the Bears for a brief period of time near the end of his career.

In 2014, Allen signed a four-year deal with Chicago in free agency. During his first season, Allen totaled 57 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 15 games. In 2015, Allen played in just three games before he was traded to the Carolina Panthers for a sixth-round pick. It would be his final NFL season before he retired.

Over the course of 12 seasons, Allen totaled 136 sacks, 32 forced fumbles, and 171 tackles for loss. He will be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, this August with tight end Antonio Gates, wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, and defensive back Eric Allen.
