The Las Vegas Raiders could be seeing a familiar face suit up against them next season. A former starter who once carried a $4.4 million price tag with the Silver and Black is reportedly drawing interest from within the AFC West as free agency continues to unfold.
According to league sources, veteran offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor — who spent the last three seasons with the Raiders — is being eyed by at least one division rival. While specific teams have not been confirmed, the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers are both in need of depth and experience along the offensive line and could be logical landing spots.
Eluemunor started 17 games for the Raiders in 2022 and appeared in 14 more in 2023, bringing valuable versatility and consistency to the unit. Initially signed as a depth piece, he emerged as a key contributor, especially at right tackle, and played under multiple head coaches during his stint in Las Vegas.
Despite solid performances, the Raiders chose not to re-sign him this offseason, likely due to a shift in philosophy under new head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek. The team is clearly prioritizing youth and athleticism as it retools the offensive front for the future.
Meanwhile, Eluemunor's ability to play both guard and tackle makes him an attractive short-term solution for teams with patchwork lines or injury concerns. His veteran presence and familiarity with AFC West opponents only add to his value for rival franchises looking to gain an edge.
If the 29-year-old does sign with another team in the division, it would mark yet another high-profile intra-division move — something that has become increasingly common in today’s NFL landscape. For the Raiders, it would also mean seeing a former starter lining up on the opposite side at least twice in the 2025 season.
As free agency continues, expect more clarity on Eluemunor’s destination in the coming weeks. But if early signs hold true, Raider Nation might want to prepare for the possibility of seeing one of their former starters suiting up in enemy colors soon.
