The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Tennessee Titans cornerback Chidobe Awuzie to a one-year contract. The Titans, who originally signed Awuzie to a three-year, $36 million contract in 2024, are paying Awuzie $7.5 million during the 2025 NFL season, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Awuzie signed a minimum deal with Baltimore, so it is a low risk move for the Ravens.
Awuzie is an eight-year NFL veteran. The Dallas Cowboys drafted him out of Colorado in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft.
Awuzie has started 81 games in his NFL career and has seven career interceptions. He played with Dallas from 2017-2020 before signing a three-year, $21.75 million to join the Cincinnati Bengals. Awuzie played out his contract with the Bengals before signing with the Titans last offseason.

In 2024, Awuzie started seven games in eight appearances for the Titans. He posted 26 tackles, one interception and four pass deflections last year. A groin injury forced him to miss nine games with Tennessee.
The former Titans cornerback will provide depth and experience for the Ravens' secondary. Baltimore allowed the second-most passing yards (4,468 yards) during the 2024 NFL season, so cornerback is a significant need for the Ravens.
