While Liam is struggling with the emotional toll of having an inoperable brain tumor, in the real-world, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Scott Clifton is doing his best to be there for his girlfriend Elle Anderson. On June 11, his lady love posted various pics and videos with the first touching base on how a past accident had affected her life.
“A year and a half after a bad car accident left me with a 53% curvature in my spine,” Anderson shared, along with a pic of her in bed. “Six-plus hours of surgery, four doctors and a robot, DOCS Health saved my life.” The second slide gave followers a look at her spine, as she joked, “Scott lovingly nicknamed me Quasimodo.”
Continuing details of her health journey, Anderson posted a couple of shots of Clifton’s son Ford, who clearly adores his dad’s girlfriend, and stated, “Ford became the most-loving bedside nurse. He has taken this self-titled responsibility very seriously.” Ford’s dad had as well as shown in one of the videos, where he tenderly worked to close the straps around her leg braces. Knowing it was “a lot a work,” Anderson added, “What a hero.”

Now, reflecting back on the accident and the continued struggles, Anderson stated, “The physical challenges have been real, but the people around me have been my strength,” two of which she tagged were Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) and his wife Brytnee. “One week into a two-week bed rest and with many weeks of physical therapy to come, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support.”
Clifton’s castmate Ashley Jones (Bridget) posted her well wishes in the comments and said, “Praying for you,” and we too send Anderson our best as she continues to heal.
