The blaze began in the parking lot of The Cromwell, which will soon be known as The Vanderpump Hotel.

Video quickly circulated on social media showing smoke all around the building. People were starting to gather in crowds as sirens could be heard blasting in the background.

A Caesars Entertainment representative said the fire was quickly put out and did not damage the main property, according to PEOPLE.

“Early this morning, a fire broke out inside the parking garage at The Cromwell,” the representative said. “It was quickly extinguished, and there were no reported injuries.”

They added that out of caution “some guest rooms were briefly evacuated.”

The Hotel Is Set to Open in 2026

The hotel is set to open in early 2026. It was announced on March 12 in a press release. Vanderpump expressed her excitement over the new venture.

Our successful history has always been based on the individuality of the location. Through my design company, Vanderpump Alain, with my partner Nick Alain, we can’t wait to breathe new life into this property and make it something truly magical.”

The hotel has been described as bringing Vanderpump’s signature glamour to the Strip.
