The New York Knicks are at home on Friday night as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden.Final Injury Report For Cavaliers-Knicks, Will Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell Play? - Athlon Sports

Friday’s game is a massive one for the Knicks as they sit just a game ahead of the red-hot Indiana Pacers for the third seed in the Eastern Conference standings with both teams having just two games left in the regular season.

Of course, the Knicks are coming off a loss to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday as they dropped their second consecutive game.

They will now look to bounce back against a Cavaliers team that has won seven of their last 10 games but may be without a few of their key players with them already clinching the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Unfortunately for the Knicks, they may be without some of their key players as well as they have listed Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart as questionable.

Of course, Anunoby and Hart sat out of Thursday's loss due to injuries and they are in danger of missing their second consecutive contest.

For Brunson and Towns, they are new additions to the injury report and if all four players are set to miss Friday's game, it would be a massive blow for a Knicks team still fighting for the third seed in the East standings.

The good news for the Knicks is that Mitchell Robinson is set to return on Friday after missing Thursday’s loss due to ankle injury management.

On the other side, the Cavaliers will be shorthanded as they have ruled out Donovan Mitchell, Ty Jerome, De'Andre Hunter and Sam Merrill.Cleveland has also listed Darius Garland as probable and announced that Evan Mobley is available after being sidelined in Thursday's loss to the Indiana Pacers.
