Michael Penix Jr. will lead the Falcons into Washington to face the Commanders on Sunday Night Football, and he’ll have a fully healthy supporting cast around him.
The only question mark was Drake London, who left Sunday’s game against the Giants with an injury. However, that might have been more of a product of the game itself. The Falcons were never in danger of losing, so there was no reason to throw London back out there. Had the circumstances been different, perhaps he would have re-entered the game.
London was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday, but ESPN’s Marc Raimondi is reporting that he is fine and is expected to play on Sunday.
It’s shaping to be an all-hands-on-deck evening for the Falcons this weekend in a must-win situation if the organization wants to break its six-year postseason drought.
