The Denver Broncos will see a familiar face this season, but he will remain in a Green Bay Packers uniform.
That's former Broncos kicker Brandon McManus, who agreed to a three-year, $15.3 million contract extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday. Schefter also reported that agents Drew and Jason Rosenhaus negotiated McManus' new deal with the team.
McManus kicked for the Broncos from 2014 to 2022, where he made 223 of 274 field goals for an 81.4% clip. He hit 40-72 from beyond 50 yards during his time with the Broncos, and McManus made notable kicks along the way.
His best performance with the Broncos arguably came in the Super Bowl year for 2015 when he went 13-13 in the playoffs on extra points and field goals. McManus also hit a 61-yard field goal in 2021, though it was in a loss, and he also hit multiple game-winners along the way.
Denver cut McManus in 2023, and he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars that year, followed by a brief stint with the Washington Commanders in March 2024 before another release. McManus found a new home with the Packers in October 2024, and he went 20-21 on field goals and 30-30 on extra points.
Denver will host Green Bay during the 2025 season.
