One of the longest-running and most beloved reality shows of all time is back for another season. Survivor 47 premiered recently, and new episodes of the competition show air on Wednesday nights at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS. This season returned to the show's permanent location on Mamanuca Island in Fiji. For its first 16 years on air, the show traveled all over the world, filming in different exotic locations for every Survivor season. However, since Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, which was season 33, the show was filmed in the South Pacific locale.

At the start of this season, 18 contestants were dropped on a deserted island to outwit, outplay, and outlast each other. They will continue to brave starvation, sleep deprivation, and each other for a shot at winning a million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor. Like Survivor seasons 45 and 46, Survivor season 47 will continue airing 90-minute episodes. The super-sized Survivor episodes, which have been very popular with fans, appear to be here to stay.

The Golden Bachelorette

Wednesdays 8 pm ET/PT on ABC

Love is in the air this fall because the highly-anticipated inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette premiered recently. The show's lead, 61-year-old Joan Vassos, made her television debut during The Golden Bachelor season 1 when she was one of 22 women dating 72-year-old Gerry Turner. The Golden Bachelor was groundbreaking because it was the first unscripted dating show that focused on the love lives of older singles, and The Golden Bachelorette picks up where the original left off.

Super-sized two-hour-long episodes of The Golden Bachelorette season 1 air on Wednesday nights at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC.

Though Joan was called away by a family emergency and had to leave Gerry's season early, she was given a second chance at finding true love on the female-led version of the Bachelor spin-off. The season kicked off with the usual fleet of limousines delivering the 24 single older men Joan would be dating, and it's currently in full swing, with Joan handing out roses and sending men home. Interest in the franchise was so high that The Golden Bachelorette season 1 episodes are a super-sized two hours long, so there's plenty for fans to enjoy.

The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City season 5 premiered about a month ago, and the drama is already at peak madness. This season's cast includes Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Mary Cosby, and Angie Katsanevas returning from previous seasons, with new full-time cast member Bronwyn Newport, and Britani Bateman and Meili Workman also appearing in this season as friends of the housewives.

The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City season 5 airs on Tuesday nights at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo.

The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City season 4 ended with the seismic bombshell that one of the ladies was behind the Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease. The account, which was created three years ago, was dedicated to exposing information about former cast member Jen Shah, as well as other current housewives. RHOSLC newcomer Monica Garcia was revealed to be behind the troll account. Before Jen was arrested for wire fraud, Monica worked for her and claimed that Jen told her about her illegal telemarketing scheme. Later, Monica became a federal government witness in Jen's trial.
