At Brooke’s place, she talks to Hope about Forrester business. Hope doesn’t want to hear about Ridge, Steffy, or the Forresters after what they did to her. Brooke insists things are in transition. Hope says, “Not for me.” She’s lost everything after putting her trust in the wrong man, who sold her out of the Forresters. “I still can’t help but think you did too.”

Brooke urges Hope to give it time. She’ll talk to Ridge, and he’ll let her back in. Hope says he’ll never go for that. She’s getting pretty tired of having to defer to him and his judgment. She gets that her mother is still worried about how this is impacting her relationship with him, but when will she stop feeling like she has to prove herself to him. She’s always making him her first thought and first concern instead of, well, anything else. Brooke sighs. She informs her daughter that they already discussed this. Hope guesses no change is coming from it… she’s the only one suffering consequences. She’s the only one who was fired. “I don’t think it was so wrong to want better for myself and the company.” Brooke argues it was the way they went about it. Carter understands that, so why doesn’t she? Hope walks out; she needs fresh air. Brooke exhales in frustration.

Liam Confronts Bill

At Bill’s place, Liam rants that he gets to be concerned about this… people keep asking him questions he can’t answer about his decision making. “You let Luna out of prison. You had a convicted murderer living in your home. What is wrong with you?!” Bill tells him Luna wasn’t safe in there. Liam exclaims, “Well, that’s great dad, because now none of us are safe out here!” He reminds him she killed two men and tried to kill Steffy. “What is wrong with you?!” Bill bellows, “Enough! Do you think I’m going to let you walk into my house and talk to me like that?”

Liam continues, “Luna Nozawa is crazy. She’s an actual murderer.” Bill says she got a pardon; a clean slate. Liam exclaims, “Not from me! Not from Steffy or the families of the men she killed!” Bill states that Luna is starting over. Liam argues she should be in prison and locked away for the rest of her life because of how dangerous she is. “But now you just, you just let her loose into the world. You effectively unleashed a maniac on the rest of us, so thanks!”

Liam reminds Bill again that Luna wanted Steffy dead. Bill hollers, “Alright, we’re done!” He won’t debate this with Liam. He tells him to get off his soapbox and go back to work. Liam’s there as his son, not his employee, and won’t be dismissed. Bill sniffs that he’s wasting his time. Liam guesses maybe he is… no one gets to question him. His behavior can be as bizarre and shady as he wants, and they all just have to accept it. It’s not leadership, it’s unaccountability. It’s gross, reckless, and it’s going to get somebody killed. Someone he claims to care about. “I don’t know what’s going on with you and I’m starting to think I never will. Maybe that’s because I’m just so damn different from you.”

Electra Stands Her Ground With Luna

At Deacon’s apartment, Sheila tells Electra she doesn’t appreciate her aggressiveness in her home. Luna suggests her grandmother leave her and Electra to talk alone. Sheila reminds Electra to remember where she is and who she’s dealing with and exits. Electra tells Luna there’s nothing to talk about… she’s there to put her on notice to stay away from her and Will. She tells Luna that Will doesn’t want anything to do with her. Luna smirks, “Really? Then why am I being annoyed by his jealous girlfriend.” Electra tells her she should be rotting in prison. Luna says she’s not… she’s free to do what she likes, thanks to Will’s dad.

Luna tells Electra she’s a free woman thanks to Bill. She’s been given a second chance, which is a good thing for Electra because she can’t do anything to screw it up. Electra sneers, “Of course you will. It’s only a matter of time before you mess up and land yourself right back in jail. Until then, I’m warning you to never come near Will or me, ever again.” She shoves Luna, who glares.

Luna seethes, “Never tough me again.” Electra retorts, “You hit on my boyfriend and you’re telling me to back off?” Luna warns she’d better listen. Electra smirks, “Or what? You just said you’re not going to ruin your big chance.” Luna fumes that no one else is going to ruin it for her either. Electra says Luna thinks she can do whatever she wants, but she can’t. Coming onto Will is pathetic. “He doesn’t want anything to do with you.” She walks out. Lina smirks, “We’ll see about that.”

Meanwhile, down at the bar in Il Giardino, Sheila’s surprised to see Deacon and realizes he’s still upset about Luna. Deacon isn’t happy about it, but he has bigger fish to fry… Hope. He rants to Sheila about Hope’s line being taken away… it’s her purpose. It’s right up there with being the best mom she can be. She’s put her heart and soul into this and now it’s gone. She has to be devastated. He’s called and texted but has got no answer. He wants to help his daughter, but doesn’t know how.

Will Opens Up to Katie

In the design office, Katie senses something is off with Will and asks, “Is this about Electra?” Will says he’s crazy about her, but he doesn’t think they’re on the same page. He clarifies that things have been going well, but they don’t agree on where they go from there. “Like, if it’s time to take it to the next step.” Katie is glad he feels comfortable talking to her about this. Will kinda doesn’t, but he wants to do the right thing. “I love her, mom.” He’s really enjoyed hanging out with her, but he wants to get closer. Katie asks, “And she’s not ready?”

Will tells his mother he’d never want Electra to do anything she’s not ready for, but they’ve been dating for a while now. They’re just not on the same page. Katie thinks it’s good they’re talking about it. Will agrees… he just wishes that they didn’t talk about it at Il Giardino. Katie asks why… did Electra get upset? Will says no… Luna was there. Katie gawps, “Double-murderer Luna?!” Will nods. “She overheard me and Electra and picked up on my frustrations.” Katie ask if she approached him. Will says she came onto him.

Later, Will tells Electra he’s glad she’s back. He’s been thinking about her. She’s been thinking about him too. He assures her he doesn’t want to mess things up by pushing too hard. He understands she’s not ready, and he’ll wait for her. They kiss, and then Electra tells him she confronted Luna. Will warns that she needs to be careful. Electra says this is too important. “I want her to stay away from us.”

Luna and Sheila Discuss Electra’s Visit

In Deacon’s apartment, Sheila tells Luna she can’t have Electra coming around there causing trouble. Luna sniffs that there’s nothing that little girl can do to intimidate her. Luna laughs that she tried to get all tough and even shoved her. Sheila asks, “What did you do?” Luna says, “Nothing. Yet.” It’s a good thing she left because part of her really wanted to lash out at that prude, Electra Forrester.

Liam Quits

At Bill’s house, he warns Liam he’s been patient, but if he keeps this up, it’s not going to last. Liam asks if he thinks he needs to prove how powerful this is. He can’t understand how he could let Luna Nozawa out of prison. Bill barks that he doesn’t need to understand; he just needs to accept it. Liam won’t. Bill vows that he will. “You will! Do you hear me?!” Liam gawps at his father. Bill intones, “You work for me. You will do what you’re told.” Liam asks, “What are you threatening me with, exactly? Are you going to fire me? That’s a little difficult, because I quit.” Bill rolls his eyes.

Hope Turns to Deacon

Hope walks into Il Giardino, and Deacon gives her a big hug. He heard what happened at Forrester and tried calling. Hope wasn’t ready to talk before. She complains that her mother doesn’t understand and is blaming it all on her. She couldn’t stay in that house a minute longer and listen to her go on about Ridge. She’s never felt so betrayed and hurt by her mom. Deacon says she’s not the only one, but she’s not her only parent. He would bet on her every day and twice on Sunday. “If you need somebody to lean on, you lean on me.” They embrace.
