Eagles star Jalen Hurts Marries Bryonna Burrows in California

ASuper Bowl ring isn’t the only jewelry Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has added to his collection this year.

According to Page Six of the New York Post, Hurts hosted a lavish wedding reception in Napa Valley, Calif., last weekend to celebrate his marriage to Bryonna Burrows.

Hurts, 26, previously revealed that he’d quietly tied the knot with Burrows, 28, in the spring.

Page Six noted that the couple rented out the Four Seasons hotel for a four-day bash, featuring dinner on Thursday and a barn party the following day. On Saturday, the newlyweds exchanged their vows before their families and “numerous famous guests.”

When Did Jalen Hurts Meet His Future Wife?

After first meeting as students at the University of Alabama, Hurts and Burrows went public with their relationship in 2023. In September 2024, they revealed their engagement in Essence Magazine.

“I knew a long time ago,” Hurts told Essence of Burrows being the one. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”

Burrows graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 2017 before receiving an MBA at Alabama’s Manderson School of Business, while Hurts transferred to Oklahoma before the 2019 season.

In his lone year with the Sooners, Hurts threw 32 touchdowns compared to just eight interceptions and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting behind Louisiana State quarterback Joe Burrow.

Jalen Hurts Working with New Eagles’ Play-Caller

Hurts’ wedding celebration continues a busy offseason for the Pro Bowl quarterback.

At last week’s mandatory minicamp, Hurts talked about the challenge of working with another new offensive coordinator. Former passing game coordinator/associate head coach Kevin Patullo — who was promoted to replace Kellen Moore — is Hurts’ sixth different play-caller in six seasons since being drafted 53rd overall (second round) by Philadelphia in 2020.

“As you get older, you find comfort,” Hurts said in a YouTube video posted by the team. “You’re encouraged by what you’ve been able to do. That opens up the door of feeling like, ‘OK, maybe there’s more I can do.’”

Hurts is coming off a standout season in which he completed a career-high 68.7% of his passes for 18 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also ran for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns.

It culminated with a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Hurts went 17-of-22 for 221 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, rushed for 72 yards and another touchdown, and took home MVP honors.
