The (March) Madness is here and Philadelphia Eagles rising star cornerback Cooper DeJean is ready to watch it unfold.
DeJean dropped his March Madness bracket that features several exciting upsets.
In the first round of the tournament in the West Region, DeJean has No. 11 seed Drake defeating No. 6 seed Missouri and No. 10 seed Arkansas knocking out No. 7 seed Kansas. He also predicts the No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels will lose to the No. 11 seed San Diego State Aztecs in the South Region.
In the Sweet 16 round, DeJean sees No. 2 seed Alabama falling to No. 6 seed BYU.
DeJean then has No. 2 seed Michigan State taking down No. 1 overall seed Auburn in the Elite Eight.
In his final four, DeJean has Michigan St., Duke, Florida, and Houston, with the Houston Cougars winning it all.
Cooper DeJean Knows Ball
If anyone knows the game of basketball, it's DeJean, who is a former high school basketball star himself.
As a three-year varsity basketball player at OABCIG High School in Ida Grove, Iowa, DeJean scored an impressive total of 1,832 points.
He was actually so good that former Eagles cornerback Darius Slay followed his high school career long before he joined him in Philly.
During one episode of Chris Long's "Green Light" podcast, Slay revealed that he had commented on one of DeJean's high school basketball highlight videos four years ago.
"Like, he's special," Slay said. "I saw Cooper DeJean in high school playing basketball, right. I saw him doing windmill dunks and all kinds of crazy stuff. I'm like, woo! And then, like, I commented to him like four years ago and he commented back saying he appreciated it. Then the next thing you know he gets drafted to us."
We'll see how things shake out for DeJean and his big-time upset bracket this week with March Madness officially tipping off tonight at 6:40 pm ET.
