The New York Giants are in the middle of a month-long break before training camp begins in mid-July. Rookies report to camp on July 15, while veterans report on July 22, located at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. One area of offense to keep an eye on during the summer is the structure of the offensive line, as several starters are recovering from injuries, including their blindside protector.
New York Giants’ superstar LT suffered a season-ending injury in Week 6

Andrew Thomas suffered a significant foot injury in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals despite playing every single offensive snap. Tests determined that he sustained a Lisfranc injury, typically carrying a six-to-twelve-month recovery time. As a result, Thomas missed spring practices and could open training camp on the active/PUP list.

During Monday’s appearance with John Schmeelk of the Giants Huddle podcast, Andrew Thomas provided an injury update. Right now, the Second-Team All-Pro tackle is “feeling good,” is taking his time, and doing everything the trainers are telling him to do. However, Thomas did not commit to playing in Week 1 but is hopeful.
“I’m feeling good. Just taking my time with it. Don’t really have a projection right now, but I’m doing everything that the trainers are telling me and hopefully, I am ready to go,” Thomas said.
