Dolphins' Tyreek Hill Makes Bold Claim to Beat Tennis Star Frances Tiafoe

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been in the spotlight away from the football field over the past few months.

There was his feud with U.S. Olympic track gold medalist Noah Lyles, during which Hill said he could beat him in a race. Then, there were the "I'm out" remarks about the Dolphins after the team failed to make the playoffs.

And now, the NFL superstar is again defending his athletic abilities after he told American professional tennis player Frances Tiafoe he could beat him in a match.

Tiafoe is in South Florida to compete in the Miami Open, which takes place at Hard Rock Stadium, where the Dolphins play their home games.

The team arranged a friendly meeting for Hill to talk to Tiafoe ahead of his match, and Hill expressed his athletic confidence.

"I feel like, for real, I can beat you in tennis," Hill lightheartedly said in a video posted by the team on social media.

"I love your confidence but you're crazy," Tiafoe laughingly replied.

Hill backed up his stance by comparing the sport to pickleball and mentioning how good he is at it. However, Tiafoe once again stifled his optimism by letting the Super Bowl winner know his serve comes at 130.

"Anything that involves athletics I feel like I'm good at," Hill told Tiafoe.

Hill even showed Tiafoe his tennis movements and brought up his speed, but the tennis star laughed during the playful conversation between the two.

The Miami wideout wished Tiafoe luck during his match and said he would be in attendance to watch him play.
