Dallas Cowboys 3X All-Pro Believes The Refs Favor The Kansas City Chiefs

The Dallas Cowboys‘ best defender Micah Parsons is now on the long list of players and fans who think that the referees in the NFL have been favoring the Kansas City Chiefs. While the team that has been winning constantly will always be subject to these claims of having the refs favor them, Micah seems to think the Chiefs truly get favored.

Many NFL fans will use Micah’s words to fuel their conspiracy theories that have been flying on social media that the referees favor the Chiefs. Many fans have been buying into this theory because of what has transpired in the first two weeks of the season.

The Chiefs opened up the year with two super close victories in their two games, and there have been crucial calls that have gone their way in both games. This is nothing new as fans all remember the calls that the Chiefs have gotten in their Super Bowls and Playoff games, namely a defensive holding call to end the game vs the Philadelphia Eagles and many egregious calls in the AFC championship matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs have consistently been on the right end of calls specifically in the late fourth quarter of the postseason and regular season. Micah believes the same, as he articulated that calls always go both ways, but that Kansas City is heavily favored. Micah addressed the refs in his podcast earlier this week saying:

“That game was pretty crazy … A lot of calls went both ways,” Parsons said. “… I felt like the refs did favor the Chiefs a little bit more. But at the end of the day, you can’t put the game in the refs’ hands.”

The play that had fans upset was a pass interference call on fourth down that effectively won the Chiefs the game, but that was certainly a textbook PI play. Fans have believed for a while now that the NFL wants the Chiefs to win for financial reasons as Taylor Swift cheers them on.

Parsons went on to say that every team suffers from bad calls, and the Chiefs are clearly the best of the best in the league:

“It’s very hard to win in the NFL, so the fact that they’re 2-0 shows how resilient and how good they really are,” Parsons said. “So guess what? The rest of the league, we got to keep working, right? And you’re telling me that’s the worst game you’re going to get out of Patrick Mahomes, and he still won? We have to get better.”

While Parsons tried to make light of his claims, fans are already convinced that the referees might as well wear Chiefs uniforms.

Patrick Mahomes Stat Backs Micah Parsons

After the game on Sunday, a stat circulated on social media that the refs have overturned more Patrick Mahomes’ interceptions than any quarterback in the league since 2018. While many have tried to argue why this stat is meaningless, when looking at other elite quarterbacks who have thrown the most passes in the history of the game, the stat highlights favorability.Ezoic

When comparing the amount of INTs that Mahomes has gotten taken back by penalty, he has already passed Tom Brady’s entire career of overturned interceptions:

Signing off for the day with this:

Mahomes has 22 INTs overturned in his 6 year career.

Brady had 16 in 22 seasons.

For those that don’t believe that stat, look it up. The argument that Mahomes has thrown the most passes or that he’s just so smart that he sees the penalties called and just chucks the ball up is not telling the whole story. Even players, like Micah and others, are now highlighting the favorability the Chiefs get.

Many fans are already convinced of the ref’s bias, and Micah’s comments have just added fuel to the fire:

“This is the Patriots Ref bias all over again. The NFL heavily favors the Chiefs, and it is obvious to all. I remember rooting for the Chiefs until I saw them steal the AFC CG from the Bengals and steal the SB from the Eagles two years ago. I hate the eagles BTW,” one fan wrote.

“Chiefs are actually the most favored team,” one fan added.

“The Chiefs benefit from questionable calls for the 2nd week in a row. It’s almost embarrassing how the NFL favors them,” one fan added.

As fans, do you believe the NFL is still a ‘real sport’, or do you think it has become fully’ entertainment’ like the W.W.E.? When the playoffs come around, the team’s seasons are fully dependent on a single call.
