"So, Sienna's gonna come today. She was like, 'Maybe I'll just do the fish fry,'" he tells his friends in the above preview clip. "And I'm not gonna be there ... "
Immediately, Austen Kroll, Rodrigo Reyes, and Craig Conover are taken aback.
"Wait, what?" says Austen with a goofy grin on his face. "That doesn't make any sense," Rodrigo adds.
From there, Craig begins to explain that Sienna could also just go snorkeling with her beau. Why come to the fish fry instead?
"Why would she not want to hang out with you?" he asks. "If you come to the fish fry, she can come, but if you're not there, I think it's weird. You guys had your talk. Now she wants to hang out with us instead of you because she doesn't wanna hang out with you?"
Instead of agreeing that the situation is strange, Shep tells his friend to not be so "cutthroat" all of a sudden.
"You guys can talk to her and be friends with her. Is that too much to ask?" he adds.
This prompts another question from Craig. Why would Shep want her to be friends with them when she's seemingly pulling back from their relationship altogether?
"Because I think she's a really good person," Shep replies. "Despite the way she makes me feel."
"Look, you know how I am, though. If someone's not making you feel nice, I don't know how to fake be nice to that person," Craig says.
With that, Shep sees that Sienna is calling and goes to answer it.
Why Austen Kroll disagrees with Craig Conover about Shep's girlfriend Sienna
Lucky for Shep, he has one buddy on his side.
"I think it's a good move, Shep," says Austen about the fish fry before launching into his thoughts in a confessional interview.
"I'll tell you what I don't like is somebody kicking somebody when they're down, especially a friend kicking another friend," he adds. "It doesn't sit right with me."
