The Cowboys were down 21-6 when an implosion on the sideline occurred. The Cowboys' offense returned from the field after another poor series when Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott were spotted separating from a dispute. Throughout the game, Lamb was visibly frustrated, so much so that Tom Brady, who was in the broadcasting booth for the game, often critiqued his bad body language.

Lamb finished the game with seven targets, four receptions for 67 yards and a fumble. Lamb also did not address the media after the game.

After today's practice, Lamb finally gave insight into his behaviors and the sideline fight between him and Prescott.

"I know that's not the player I am. I know that's not the teammate I am…It was a bad game on my end. I fully take accountability in that," Lamb said to Cowboys beat writer Jon Machota.

Lamb added that he was disappointed with the way he acted and "will be better in the future."

Prescott did not make himself available to the media today and has yet to give his side of the sideline argument. It was later revealed that team officials asked Prescott not to speak to the media today.

This was the last day for any interviews due to the Cowboys' short week as they play the New York Giants on Sep. 26 for "Thursday Night Football."

Even with Prescott's absence, Lamb continued to do damage control himself.

"I expect a lot out of myself — more than anyone could put on me. And quite honestly, I failed myself, and obviously I failed the team, just as far as producing and being that game-breaker…I kind of let the game get to my head a little bit."

Hopefully behind closed doors, the offensive duo buried the hatchet. Both Lamb and Prescott received long term deals heading into this season – four-year, $136 million extension for Lamb and a four-year, $240 million extension for Prescott.

Heading into Week 4, Lamb has recorded 218 receiving yards and a touchdown – No. 11 of receiving leaders this season.
