The Dallas Cowboys started their season off with a dominant win over the Cleveland Browns. Dallas outplayed Cleveland in nearly every phase of the game en route to a 33-17 win. Week two will feature Dallas hosting the 1-0 New Orleans Saints.
Quarterback Dak Prescott is ready.
Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott Just Made Fans Want To Run Through A Wall For Him
According to The Athletic’s Jon Machota:
How much better can the Cowboys offense be this Sunday?
Dak Prescott: “Tons. Usually that’s when teams make that jump from Week 1 to Week 2. And just understanding that we left a lot of meat out there on the bone.”
Prescott became the highest-paid player in NFC history shortly before the team bus left for Huntington Bank Field at 12:45 p.m. this past Sunday.
Prescott signed a four-year contract extension worth $240 million in Jerry Jones’ office at the Star on Monday. Charlotte Jones and Stephen Jones, executive vice presidents, were present with the owner and general manager.
To say the pressure is on this year for Dallas as a team is an understatement. The Giants had an abysmal week one performance against the Minnesota Vikings. Analysts are picking Dallas to tromp the Saints at home.
