Guy shared a photograph of himself posing with a blonde woman in front of a red heart sculpture at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
In an Instagram post, Guy shared a photograph of himself posing with a blonde woman in front of a red heart sculpture at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The background music was "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson. Guy captioned the post, "I HAVE FOUND MY PERSON."
In the comments section of the post, many Bachelor Nation members wished Guy well, including host Jesse Palmer, who wrote, "So happy for you both!!!!" Guy's fellow Golden Bachelorette contestant Jonathan Rone said, "Congratulations brother! Looks like my golden brother struck a heart of gold," while Kim Buike wrote, "Congrats my friend! Can't help but smile looking at how happy you both are!" Golden Bachelor contestant Susan Noles added, "Excited for you two."
However, not all of Guy's followers were convinced that the relationship was real. Some thought that the post might be an April Fools' Day joke, with one fan writing, "Can’t post on April fools. I believe no content today but hope you are happy."
I HAVE FOUND MY PERSON.
What Guy Gansert's New Relationship Means For The Golden Bachelor
Guy Most Likely Won't Be The Next Golden Bachelor
Because Guy was the Golden Bachelorette season 1 runner-up, it seemed to be a given that he'd be the next Golden Bachelor. During Guy's recent guest appearance on General Hospital, his character said that he had a feeling that he was going to meet someone special soon, which seemed like a hint that he was going to star in the reality dating series for seniors. However, Guy's new relationship will make that impossible.
Our Take On Guy Gansert's New Relationship
Guy's Post Seems Real
Although it's not confirmed, I don't think that Guy's Instagram post is an April Fools' Day joke, but he did have unfortunate timing when he made his announcement. I think that his new relationship is real, and it means that he won't be the next Golden Bachelor. I believe that this is for the best because he's too controversial. Although his ex-wife dropped her restraining order against him, he brings that baggage with him that could taint the already-suffering reputation of the franchise.

I think it's for the best that Guy isn't the next star of The Golden Bachelor, so that he can explore his new love in private. I hope that Guy is very happy in his new relationship, and that it will become the lasting love that he's been searching for.
