With the Edmonton Oilers taking on the Florida Panthers tonight on Amazon Prime Video, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl gave an interview where the two superstars answered personal questions.
McDavid and Draisaitl answered questions spanning from the Oilers locker room environment, celebrity lookalikes, and the players they hate playing against the most.
Off the bat, McDavid named Darnell Nurse as the team's locker room DJ. McDavjd did acknowledge it's a tough job, but also, Brett Kulak had previously been named the Oilers DJ.
Leon Draisaitl hilariously said that his favourite thing about his co-superstar was getting fed back door tap-ins, something no one could really blame him for.
Connor McDavid named Nathan Mackinnon and Cale Makar as the two players he doesn't like playing against the most. It tracks because of those two's incredible skill, and the rivalry games the Oilers and Avalanche have put up the last few years.
Prime video is making a big play with their Monday night NHL contract, and so far this season, they've delivered a fantastic product.
The new broadcasts are perhaps more enjoyable than Sportsnet, but Oilers fans still are frustrated by the paywall of the Prime Video surface, and of course, the lack of regular announcer Jack Michaels.
Tonight's game against the Panthers will be a major test for the Oilers against one of the best teams in the NHL, and also as the Stanley Cup Rematch.
