The Washington Commanders' offense was one of the best in football last season under Kliff Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels.
After making the NFC Championship game, the franchise knew it had to get better, and Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil were added to give the offense even more firepower.
But in this NFL world, where the Super Bowl window isn't open all that often unless you are the Kansas City Chiefs, teams have to load up on talent.
The Commanders, while possessing one of the best run games in football, add to their stable of playmakers in Pro Football Network's latest mock, and get Ohio State stud TreVeyon Henderson.
"TreVeyon Henderson is an explosive runner with excellent vision and agility," Pro Football Network writes. "His quick change of direction stands out, along with his solid long speed. Henderson also ranks among the best in the class in explosive run rate.
"The two concerns? His extensive injury history and pass-catching ability. Henderson won’t be a liability in the passing game, but he won’t be Jahmyr Gibbs, either. Nevertheless, he fits perfectly in the Commanders’ system."
A genuine third-down back who will appeal to Kingsbury, Henderson is coming off yet another solid year with the Buckeyes, rushing for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Henderson, possibly as the lead back, coupled with Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler, is a nice trio that Kingsbury can rotate, all the while still using Daniels' legs as yet another weapon.
The Commanders were one of the best rushing teams in football last season, and in Henderson, get one of the top backs in the class to further add some brutality to the unit as the physical style suits Henderson to perfection.
