LOS ANGELES — The Clippers have a lengthy injury report as they’ll face the Celtics at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Intuit Dome. They have six total rotation players listed on the injury report as they take on the reigning champions. The last time the Celtics and Clippers met earlier this season, Boston came away with a blowout win.
Kawhi Leonard (right knee) and Ivica Zubac (left eye) are both listed as out. The other four players are questionable in Nicolas Batum (right finger), Kris Dunn (left knee), James Harden (right groin) and Norman Powell (back).
The Clippers are currently at 24-18 and fifth in the West as they’re looking to get healthier, though that’s been a consistent issue. Leonard has played in five games this season since returning to the court, averaging 13.6 points in limited minutes thus far.
The injury report also features noteworthy contributors for the Clippers. Harden is averaging 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game as he’s still a key contributor in his age-35 season. Powell is having a strong season as he’s at 23.7 points per game and shooting 44.1% on 3-pointers.
The Celtics are coming off a 40-point blowout win over the Warriors. They have a pair of rotation players listed on the injury report as they’ll likely be without one of their guys. But otherwise, they’ve been healthy through recent weeks. The C’s, though, have struggled as they’re 9-8 over the last 17 games. So they’re looking for some consistency going forward.
