The Cincinnati Bengals have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Domenique Davis and linebacker Craig Young. Both players spent time on the Steelers practice squad this season, and with the Steelers playing the Bengals in about a week and a half, these guys can be valuable scout players.
Young and Davis were both with the Steelers for just a short amount of time, and both were released and not re-signed as the Steelers either got healthy or suffered injuries at other spots.
Davis first joined the Bengals in 2022 and has also played with the New York Jets, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Davis played at UNC Pembroke, where he shined throughout his career, earning enough hype to get into an NFL training camp. Standing at 6-foot-2, 326 pounds, Davis can play up and down the defensive line. He has three total tackles in his NFL career, the only stat that he has registered during his four year career in the NFL.
A former Ohio State and Kansas linebacker, Young spent the summer with the Indianapolis Colts after going undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 23 year old, Fort Wayne, Indiana, native has yet to play in an NFL game to this point.
