Chiefs predicted to get $83 million WR for Patrick Mahomes in big trade

Patrick Mahomes could always use another talented target to throw to.

The more the merrier for the Chiefs as they look to avenge their 2025 Super Bowl defeat.

What should Vikings do with No. 24 pick in 2025 NFL Draft 'GMFB'

One trade proposal that was brought up recently by Last Word on Sports suggests Kansas City should go after a veteran who has made $83 million in his NFL career.

That receiver? Adam Thielen.

The former Vikings star is currently with the Carolina Panthers.

Thielen is heading into the final year of his contract.

The last couple of seasons, Thielen has been a veteran presence who has proven to still have some juice for Bryce Young.

It would make sense for Thielen to want such a deal, giving him a chance to chase a Super Bowl ring late in his career.

Mahomes and the Chiefs could use him, too, given Rashee Rice is coming back from injury and Xavier Worthy is having trouble off the field.

The Chiefs let DeAndre Hopkins leave for the Ravens, so as far as former stars in their receiving corps, Thielen would replace him.

It would make sense for such a deal to happen around the NFL Draft, if it does, so the Panthers could eye exactly who they might want to pick in return for giving up Thielen.

Nothing is imminent, but it sure makes a lot of sense if the Chiefs can get Thielen for a mid-round pick.
