Travis Kelce was the chief destroyer, having 117 yards and a touchdown from seven receptions, but other than that, no one really looked like threatening the Houston defense aside from Xavier Worthy.

In fact, DeAndre Hopkins, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Marquise Brown didn't have a single reception between them for the game, which seems odd.

And Patrick Mahomes gave his thoughts on his three playmakers having no impact on the game.

"Obviously you want to get those guys involved, that makes our offense even better," Mahomes said. "There was times where we stalled out on drives, so that'll be something that we work on going into another great opponent this next week. But they're part of the offense, and they know that, and they're going to keep going out there and competing.

"In the playoffs, it's always you never know how it's going to go, it's about finding ways to win, and we found a way to win, but we're going to have to get those guys involved if we want to get to our ultimate goal."

With Kelce responsible for seven of Mahomes' 16 completions and Worthy another five, the Chiefs managed to put up 23 points with only one receiver having receptions.

Clearly, that isn't the way Andy Reid wants to move forward in the postseason, but it also highlights that Kansas City doesn't need all its weapons to put up a score.

And as the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills approaches, that is a rather scary thought.
