Without Patrick Mahomes, it’s tough to say that the Kansas City Chiefs would have won three Super Bowls over the past several years. The former Texas Tech Red Raiders star quarterback has been the gift that keeps on giving for the Chiefs.

Despite Kansas City failing to pull off a three-peat in the Super Bowl era after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles last February, the Chiefs will always be viewed as a legitimate top contender to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy so long as Mahomes is under center and still in the prime years of his playing career.

With six Pro Bowls and two NFL Most Valuable Player awards while also still being just 29 years old, the future remains blindingly bright for Mahomes, who was taken 10th overall in the 2017 NFL draft by the Chiefs.

Mahomes isn’t just an incredibly effective quarterback; he’s also very entertaining to watch. Casual football fans can appreciate his otherworldly talents, which have been put on display by the NFL via a montage of highlights in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Of course, that video generated lots of attention from fans online:

“I was there for the behind the back pass live. The stadium went nuts!,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “Yes, he is. Expect more of that come September. ❤️”

From a commenter: “There is no one like Mahomes”

“Maybe my favorite highlight reel!,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “True story, the guy is crazy! Can’t wait for next season 🏈 🏟️”

Said another: “I was there for the behind the back pass. I had just turned to my sister to ask what she wanted for dinner and missed it. Everyone else in my group was watching. So I got to see their faces see it and then the crowd reacted. 😒”
