The Kansas City Chiefs are going into their bye week undefeated after a dominant performance against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. Despite their record, Kansas City has suffered some significant injuries to their offense, including wide receiver Rashee Rice, who will miss the remainder of the season after having LCL surgery. A rumor is going around the NFL world that the Chiefs could sign a $100 million receiver who could hit the open market before the trade deadline.

The proposal has Cleveland Browns star Amari Cooper signing with Kansas City in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick. Cooper has proven that he is one of the top receivers in the league since being drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in 2015, and he could bring a veteran presence to a young Chiefs receiving room.

With Rice out for the season, the Chiefs could be looking to add more depth to their receivers, and having a veteran like Copper would demoralize opposing defense even more. While the Chiefs have had some struggles on offense so far this season, adding Cooper could help them get back to their usual identity.

Amari Cooper Career

Cooper has amounted to 9,694 receiving yards and 62 touchdowns in his career, playing for the Browns, Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys. He is likely to sign with a new team by the trade deadline as Cleveland is struggling to get anything going on offense and looks to be in need of a rebuild.

While there are other options for receivers that Kansas City could target in free agency, Cooper seems to be one of the best and realistic options for the team. Do you think that the Chiefs will sing Cooper, or will they try to target someone else?
