Paul Pierce played for the Boston Celtics from 1998 to 2013. During that time, he played under a wide array of coaches and assistant coaches. Among those assistant coaches was Tom Thibodeau, who worked with the Celtics from 2007 to 2010.
That was Thibodeau's last job as an assistant before transitioning to head coach. Since leaving the Celtics, Thibodeau has had head coaching jobs with the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, and New York Knicks.
