Carolina Quixano Escalates Jaw-Dropping Feud With This Bachelor Season 29 Contestant Just As The Show’s Focus On Drama Is Making Grant Ellis Look Bad

The Bachelor's Carolina Quixano has certainly made an impact this season, and based on a TikTok feud brewing with Dina Lupancu, the drama isn't going to end anytime soon. Carolina and Dina are two of the many women vying for Grant Ellis' heart during The Bachelor season 29. Carolina, a public relations manager, has already been involved in drama with Rose Sombke, who self-eliminated after claiming Carolina did her "dirty."

The Bachelor's Dina Lupancu lobbed the first bomb at Carolina Quixano, who shot back and escalated their mysterious feud.

Dina took to TikTok and lobbed the first bomb at Carolina, posting an eight-second video in which she sat facing the camera--with roses behind her, naturally. The TikTok video was set to a song, which Dina mouthed the words to: "Because you know any moment, it could all...boom." On the video itself, Dina wrote, "When you defend the one person nobody else would...just to get played the next week." Dina also played into her job as a lawyer, writing in the video's caption, "Your honor, I'd like to withdraw as counsel."

While it wasn't initially clear who the video was aimed at, commenters pointed out that the previews for next week's episode revealed it's CarolinaCarolina quickly responded, confirming she was the person Dina was referring to, by posting her own video using the same sound. On Carolina's video, she wrote, "Seeing someone use this sound as if I don't have screenshots of our conversation as evidence."

What Dina & Carolina’s Mystery Feud Means For The Bachelor Season 29

Drama May Overshadow Grant's Quest For Love

Dina and Carolina have seemingly been friendly this season, and at the end of episode 4, Dina indeed defended Carolina amid issues with the other women, saying that she "feels" for Carolina. "I think she's misunderstood in a lot of ways. But at the end of the day, I think she... does see a future with Grant," she said. But in the previews for episode 5, Dina and the other women are upset that Carolina is dominating Grant's time.

Carolina is giving damsel-in-distress energy. She takes him away and they're gone for the rest of the day. Further in the preview, Dina and Sarafiena Watkins confront Carolina. Dina tells Carolina that if she goes and talks to Grant, it would be "crazy." Carolina confidently struts up the stairs as she says, "I guess I'm crazy and evil."

Grant's time on the show has been overshadowed by some of the women's drama, and some think that Grant's not assertive enough to be a good leading man. His indecisiveness and inability to take a side already resulted in Rose leaving The Bachelor, which Carolina was also involved in. But if Grant views Carolina's behavior as indicative of how much she cares for him, he may like that she's willing to put herself out there and be the villain if it means being with him.

Our Take On Dina & Carolina’s Mysterious Feud

Carolina Is Quickly Emerging As The Season's Villain

There's usually one contestant on The Bachelor who claims the "villain" role throughout the season. Maybe she's more open about what she wants, maybe she dominates the bachelor's time, or maybe she engages in gossip or pot-stirring to shake things up. This season, Carolina is quickly earning that title, which makes for good television but might put Grant off.

Grant's season of The Bachelor is still ongoing, with seven women remaining in the running: Carolina, Dina, Alexe Godin, Juliana Pasquarosa, Litia Garr, Sarafiena Watkins, and Zoe McGrady. After solo and group dates that saw the women flying to Las Vegas and Madrid, and testing their musical and athletic abilities, a clear frontrunner has not emerged, but Carolina won't go down without a fight. She's in it for Grant's heart, no matter who else is competing against her.
