The Vancouver Canucks fans have repeated the actions they saw in Ottawa over the weekend as they were seen booing the United States National Anthem after Donald Trump placed a 25% tariff on Canada.

 

 

Vancouver Canucks fans become the next major sports team to boo the U.S National Anthem

 

Sports have been a long standing way that athletes and fans have showcased protest on issues that are happening aroudn the world.

Starting his second term as the President of the United States, Donald Trump has followed through with may of the actions he threatened if he took office.

In an attempt to subdue the Canadian economy, he announced he will be placing a 25% tariff on Canadian goods as well as a 10% tariff with a 10% tariff on energy from Canada, such as oil and natural gas.

Just like when the American National Anthem got boo'd by the Ottawa Senators fans, the Vancouver Canucks have shown their stance with a move of solidarity.

The second Agasha Mutesasira starting singing the Star Spangled Banner, the crowd starting yelling in outrage with overwhelming boo's in order to disrupt and protest.

Boos for the US anthem, cheers for the singer.
