Can Jets' 'Biggest Question' Be Answered In 2025?

The New York Jets this offseason have been moving in silence under Aaron Glenn, with the franchise adding some nice pieces on both sides of the ball to usher in this new era.

Can Jets' 'Biggest Question' Be Answered In 2025?

One such player is Justin Fields.

The four-year quarterback comes to the Big Apple looking to re-ignite his career in what is perhaps his last chance at being an NFL starter, or at least showing he deserves to be.

For NFL.com's Nick Shook, he has liked the Jets' offseason, but Fields looms as the biggest question mark.

"I've loved the Jets' approach since they hired Aaron Glenn as their new coach in January," Shook wrote. "The big question mark is Justin Fields, a quarterback who needs to prove himself now that he's with his third NFL team in as many years. Then again, this feels like his best opportunity to do so, compared to previous situations in Chicago and Pittsburgh."

With a stout offensive line, a trio of running backs led by Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson as his go-to weapon, Fields does have plenty to work with.

He's got a clear runway in 2025 without the fear of Tyrod Taylor usurping him in training camp - Justin is the starter. That in itself might create a sense of calm for a player who knows time is running out to prove his worth as a starter.

And he will get that chance under Tanner Engstrand, who will try to implement the same type of run game he had in Detroit, with the Jets.

If he can, Fields will have a good run game to fall back on, while being able to play within his means and hopefully lead the Jets to a better record than last season.

But the biggest question is, can he?
