The Buffalo Bills' receiver room has gotten a lot of attention this offseason, with many of the thought that Josh Allen needs more weapons.
Having lost Amari Cooper and Mack Hollins, the Bills "replaced" them with Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore, and Leviska Shenault Jr.
That trio comes to a room already housing Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Dalton Kincaid, and Dawson Knox. But the big issue for some is the lack of a No. 1 star to bring the group together.
As such, the overall look of the room for Pro Football Focus leaves a bit to be desired despite its potential, and in ranking all 32 receiver rooms, Buffalo's comes in at No. 19.
"The Bills put forth a diverse passing attack in 2024, with eight players seeing more than 30 targets," Pro Football Focus writes. "Khalil Shakir not only led them in targets but also in PFF receiving grade (80.1). Second-year wideout Keon Coleman could be in for a massive season after earning just a 68.8 PFF receiving grade as a rookie.
"Meanwhile, Dalton Kincaid cracked the top 10 of PFF's tight end rankings with the ninth-best PFF WAR figure at the position over the past two seasons. The Bills will be without Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper from last year’s group, but their potential remains high."
The receiver-by-committee approach worked last season, with Allen leading the offense to average 30.9 points per game, so the lack of a No. 1 weapon didn't hinder the group.
Yet, some think it will in 2025.
Ranking the room 19th might seem a little harsh, as with the expected improvement of Coleman and Kincaid, who dealt with injuries last year, Allen's weapons "should" be better than a year ago.
But if Buffalo's receivers needed any more motivation ahead of what might be a defining year, they just got it.
