Cаmeron Newton urges Rаsһee Rісe to not devіаte from tһe rіgһt раtһ: 'Tһere’s not а рerson іn NFL, Pаtrісk Mаһomes іnсluded, tһаt tһe leаgue саn’t do wіtһout'

For Rashee Rice, every day that goes by increases the concern about his NFL future. With the status of the investigation into his car crash still ongoing, the wide receiver has found himself in more trouble recently.

Cameron Newton urges Rashee Rice to not deviate from the right path: 'There’s not a person in NFL, Patrick Mahomes included, that the league can’t do without'

Former QB Cameron Newton sent out a message to the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl-winning rookie. Speaking on his podcast 4thand1, the former MVP had quite a lot to say.

If I were to see him, boy you too loud right now bro. What you doing for, you got kids. You got family to take care of. Keep that s**t in perspective. Keep the main thing the main thing. You over here punching photographers and driving reckless. And I know you're young. By the time he get it, its going to be over with. And how many times do we see this. I will tell you this, it's not a person in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes included, the league don't need you bro, trust me. Cameron Newton said

Cameron Newton essentially laid out the harshest truth the young wideout needs to hear. His career as a footballer will be over before he can even realize it.

Newton does make a lot of good points. The NFL does not tolerate any conduct that is detrimental to its image. It will also not stop itself from handing out suspensions even if law enforcement decides not to. That is its way of disciplining those who think they are above the law.

In the case of Rashee Rice, Newton suggested that the league could make him go away without a doubt. They will prefer not to deal with the unwanted attention that has come with Rice’s recent antics.

Rashee Rice and his future with the Kansas City Chiefs

When he first caused the horrific car crash, Rashee Rice was already treading on hot water. The Kansas City Chiefs immediately started cooperating with law enforcement as well as the league. Then it made matters worse as the Super Bowl champion went into hiding. Most recently he assaulted a photographer at a nightclub.

Since then, they have made their views about Rice’s future with them clear. They signed Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown to a one-year deal and drafted Xavier Worthy to be the next primary receiver Patrick Mahomes will throw to.

However, the door is not shut on their most reliable receiver from last season. Rashee Rice will still be able to play after any law enforcement and league-implemented punishments are complete. Unless, as Cameron Newton said, he decides to throw it all away by making matters worse.
