On Tuesday, the Chicago Bulls debuted on Chicago Sports Network, their new broadcast home for the 2024-25 NBA season. And already, viewers have several complaints about their viewing experience early on, most importantly about the positioning of the new scorebug.
On the court, the Bulls got their preseason started off on the right foot, coming away with a 116-112 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But those who tuned into the game didn’t exactly have the best time watching the game because of the new scorebug on Bulls broadcasts.
Unlike most scorebugs which go horizontally at the bottom of the screen, Chicago Sports Network decided to go with a different look, debuting a vertical scorebug on the top left of the broadcast.
The actual design of the scorebug is quite appealing. But placing it in the top left of the screen puts it directly in the way of action on the court.
That paired with the vertical look that no other NBA does makes it hard for Bulls fans to get behind, taking to social media to offer their complaints about the new-look Bulls broadcast.
