The NFL Draft is less than a month away, and with it, the draft picks, including compensatory picks, have been finalized. Entering a crucial offseason where general manager Brandon Beane is trying to get his roster over the hump to finally reach the Super Bowl, the picks that he has at his disposal are important.
With two comp picks awarded, here is the final list of selections that Beane will have to work with during the 2025 NFL Draft:
- Round 1 (30th overall)
- Round 2 (56th overall via MIN from HOU)
- Round 2 (62nd overall)
- Round 4 (109th overall from CHI)
- Round 4 (132nd overall)
- Round 5 (169th overall, compensatory)
- Round 5 (170th overall, from DAL)
- Round 5 (173rd overall, compensatory)
- Round 6 (177th overall, from NYG)
- Round 6 (206th overall)
The 10 picks overall, and eight in the first five rounds, will have Buffalo armed to the teeth with plenty of ammunition to either stockpile youth, or make moves all around the board to go after players that they may have circled.
Especially in the first round, the Bills will have plenty of opportunities to address key positions of need, especially on defense. Depending on how the board begins to fall, Beane could find himself in a position where he wants to move up to make sure that he lands the player that he wants. Defensive tackles Kenneth Grant and Derrick Harmon could be candidates for small moves up for Beane, or he could elect to get aggressive and swing for a deal up into the teens to land a difference maker that he believes is a tier above the options that would be available to him at 30th overall.
With many of the conversations since the offseason ended, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Beane get aggressive for a player that he believes will be an impact player for the Bills. With all this ammo, he should have the flexibility to get it done.
