The Denver Broncos will host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in a game between two teams looking to make a playoff push in mid-November.
These two teams have played just seven times in Denver and surprisingly, the Broncos have won just four of those. The Falcons are a team that has had success against the Broncos and though Denver holds a 9-7 lead in the all-time series, the Falcons have taken the last three games.

In fact, the last time the Broncos beat the Falcons was back in November 2008, 16 years ago. That game was played in Atlanta. The last time the Broncos beat the Falcons in Denver was back in September 2000. Brian Griese threw three touchdown passes as the Broncos won 42-14 on that day.
The Falcons have beaten the Broncos the last two times they have played there and in one of those games, Jake Plummer set the team's all-time record for passing yards in a game, a record that still stands today.
Of course, the Broncos won the biggest game ever played between these two teams.

It doesn't seem like it has been more than 25 years since the Broncos beat the Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII, but it has. The Broncos won that game 34-19 and it was the final game of the legendary career of John Elway.
Since that fateful January night, these two teams have played six other times and the Falcons have won four of those. The Broncos will be looking to tilt things back in their favor on Sunday and get back on the winning track after losing their last two games.
