Broncos Trade Pitch Lands $110 Million Bears Star

The Denver Broncos are preparing to make their run to potentially take over the AFC West division dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs for the longest time.

One way the Broncos could have one of the most explosive offenses in the league. They added a dynamic tight end in Evan Engram to be the "joker" of their team.

The Broncos see great potential in quarterback Bo Nix after just one season. The next step is to develop him into a high-volume star passer in the league.

Denver has improved its passing offense with Engram as one of their most dynamic position players. They will, however, need more to their offense ranked 19th in the league in passing offense.

They can find a potential trade opportunity with a team like the Chicago Bears, where there are rumors of veteran wide receiver D.J. Moore to be on the trade block.

Moore has an extended contract to the 2030 off-season. This season, Moore is set to earn a base salary of $20.6 million. For the following four seasons, he will earn a base salary of $23.4 million for a total of $110 million. Moore has a potential out in 2028 with only a $4 million dead cap hit.

In the last two seasons with the Bears, Moore caught 194 receptions for 2,330 yards and 14 touchdowns. It is unclear why Moore is potentially on the trade block, but it could be the Bears trying to save money and make second-year wide receiver Rome Odunze their true number-one receiver.

A package for the deal to possibly work would be the Broncos' third round pick (No. 85) or a fourth round pick (No. 122).

This could open the door for head coach Sean Payton to get a dynamic and fast route-runner like Moore, who would be a top option for Nix and be the key to overthrowing the Chiefs.
