Broncos Predicted to Cut Ties With Injured Six-Year Veteran

The Denver Broncos currently have about $42 million in cap space, putting them in a decent position to add a few players if they get creative in free agency.

The Broncos will have to move on from a couple of guys, and there's more than one option to think about cutting.

The future looks bright for the Broncos, but until they put the right pieces around quarterback Bo Nix, they likely won't be Super Bowl contenders for another year or two.

However, if the Broncos do one thing this offseason, it has to be adding talent to build with Nix.

That could be by signing a veteran or two, but finding young talent might be a better plan.

Regarding players who could be cut to help the Broncos save money and have more resources to pair players with Nix, Alex Singleton could be one of them.

In a recent piece from Rich Kurtzman of Mile High Sports, he named Alex Singleton as a cut candidate.

"It's unknown exactly which players will get cut in the lead up to the new league year on March 12, but Alex Singleton and P.J. Locke are two prime candidates," Kurtzman wrote.

Singleton entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.

Appearing in games at the NFL level for the Philadelphia Eagles and Broncos, he's been a consistent starter throughout his career, starting in 50 of 79 games he's appeared in.

However, he suffered an ACL tear during Denver's Week 3 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which could've been the last snap he'll play for the Broncos in his career.
