Broncos Are Hosting Top RB Prospect For Visit Today

The Denver Broncos continue to reshape their roster this offseason, but their backfield remains an area needing attention as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches.

Their latest top-30 visit might provide the solution.

“Broncos are visiting with Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson today. Many mocksters believe he’s ideal fit for [Sean] Payton’s system as he’s both a rush/receiver threat. Two 1,000+yd rush/27 catch seasons at Ohio State. Henderson visited [Pittsburgh] Steelers yesterday, pick one slot after Broncos,” Mike Klis of 9NEWS wrote on X.

As the draft nears, this visit signals genuine interest.

Henderson’s stock has risen considerably following his impressive 2024 campaign.

He helped Ohio State win the College Football Playoff, and his versatility caught the attention of scouts.

He eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards twice during his college career, finishing with 1,016 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns last season.

Perhaps most notable is his efficiency, as he led all draft-eligible running backs, averaging 7.1 yards per carry in 2024.

Ball security adds another dimension to Henderson’s appeal.

He didn’t fumble once during the 2024 season and had one fumble throughout his collegiate career, which came as a freshman.

His dual-threat capabilities as both a runner and receiver would make him particularly valuable in Denver’s offensive system.

While most draft analysts project Henderson as a second-round selection, the Broncos might consider selecting him earlier to secure the playmaking ability their backfield lacks.
