Brittany Cartwright is entering a new chapter of her life, which will be documented during Season 2 of “The Valley.”
At the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards, she opened up about what viewers can expect from her when the new season premieres on Tuesday, April 15, at 9/8c on Bravo. Specifically, Cartwright teased that she has found her voice.
“It’s not going to be good. But I think that’s obvious,” Cartwright said to ExtraTV on March 17. “I did file for divorce this year and everything, so like I said, lots of ups and downs, but at the same time I feel like it was time to move on.”
“And I feel like a lot of people are going to see a lot of strength and growth from me and I’m excited about that because I feel like it’s going to be a different version of myself that people are used to,” she continued. “And after 10 years of being on TV and doing this reality stuff, I feel like I am finally finding my voice, and I’m happy about that.”
Cartwright filed for divorce from Jax Taylor in August 2024. The two share one child, Cruz, and Cartwright said that her three-year-old has been her biggest motivation through all the hard times this past year.
“It’s been so much, but also just having my son,” she explained. “He’s really my driving force to make me stay strong and on point.”
‘The Valley’ Star Janet Caperna is Excited to be Brittany Cartwright’s Wingwoman
A lot of the women have rallied behind Cartwright after she and Taylor separated, and that includes her “The Valley” castmate Janet Caperna.
“I feel like I’m just excited to see it play back and see your independence build,” Caperna told ExtraTV at the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards on March 17. “Like you’re going to see her finding herself and finding her best version of herself. And it’s going to be hard in a lot of ways, but I think it’s going to be really great.”
Plus, Caperna is ready to help Cartwright find someone new.
“I’m wingwomaning whenever I can,” she said with a smile.
And Cartwright is loving it, agreeing that she’s ready to get back out there.
