The Baltimore Ravens know that as long as Lamar Jackson is under center, their team will have a shot to compete for a Super Bowl. Jackson has consistently proven he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
However, right now he finds himself in a wild legal battle.
Breaking: Ravens’ Lamar Jackson Sues Another Professional Athlete (Report)

According to Lou Flavius of Total Pro Sports:
A NASCAR Cup Series team took a shot at Lamar Jackson on Saturday following the quarterback’s foray into racing news for quite an odd reason.
The Baltimore Ravens star seems to be very possessive when it comes to his jersey number and, as a result, filed a notice of opposition claim via his legal team earlier this week in an attempt to stop Dale Earnhardt Jr. and JR Motorsports from using the original No. 8 logo.
Jackson, who previously trademarked “ERA8 by Lamar Jackson,” is said to have had concerns over Earnhardt possibly confusing consumers if he got his own trademark for the number.
The QB’s filing didn’t have much to stand on, however, with the driver and team owner disclosing on Friday that he secured the rights to use a stylized version of said numeral he had from his time with Dale Earnhardt, Inc.
Jackson’s short rift with Earnhardt has seemingly earned him some ire in the NASCAR community because he was the target of a social media post from RFK Racing on Saturday showing Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher’s cars, which are numbered 6 and 17, respectively.

Dawn Turner has been named Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy, Marketing, and Communications at RFK Racing. Having played in the NFL and NBA, she brings a wealth of experience to the team. In response to the appointment, RFK President Steve Newmark said:
“We’re excited to have Dawn on our team. Her proven track record of enhancing brand identity, fan engagement, and integrated marketing across major sports teams and entertainment properties will be invaluable in strengthening RFK.
“We’re thrilled to be able to bring in someone with Dawn’s talent, character and experience to help us continue to evolve our sports marketing platform.”
