Josh Jacobs had a phenomenal debut season with the Green Bay Packers.
It could've been even better if not for a bunch of ill-timed penalties.
NFL.com broke down Jacobs' misfortune in a new article on Friday. In it, Jacobs is revealed to have lost more rushing yards due to penalty than any other player in the league in 2024.
His total yardage negated by penalty was 94. Only Lamar Jackson (87) was within 25 yards of that unfortunate mark.
Jacobs also lost out on three touchdowns because of penalty, which tied for tops in the NFL.
Even with those bad breaks, Jacobs finished with 1,329 rushing yards and a career-high 15 touchdowns. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry.
The Packers also threw to Jacobs for 36 catches and 342 more yards.
After a down 2023 with the Raiders, Jacobs was let walk by Vegas.
The Packers were the big beneficiaries.
Jacobs is now 27 years old and could still have a couple strong seasons left in him.
And if the Packers can avoid seeing yellow flags on the ground on Jacobs' best runs, he could wind up doing even better.
