NFL Insider Reveals Maxx Crosby's Main Reason Why He Would Want To Come To Green Bay Packers This 2025 Season; Fans Celebrate News About Defensive End

Six years and just one playoff appearance? That’s what Maxx Crosby’s experience so far with the Las Vegas Raiders and if there will be changes, the Green Bay Packers might be a better home for him.

This is what National Football League insider Ian Rapoport is suggesting in his latest report as Crosby’s future with the team is hanging in balance amid the team struggle and choice to rebuild.

“While the hiring of Super Bowl winner Pete Carroll was a step toward stability, the Raiders still don’t have a franchise quarterback and have a ton of work to do to field a competitive roster,” Rapoport said in an NFL article with Tom Pelissero.

“Trading Crosby for a bounty of picks would be one way to expedite that process, and Crosby might welcome the change, particularly if it’s to a playoff team where he knows people (e.g. Green Bay).”

Crosby’s 2024 season ended abruptly in the middle of December after he decided to undergo an ankle surgery that has been bothering him since the start of the season.

He played just 12 games last year and recorded 7.5 sacks and 20 quarterback hits.

Packers fans reception of Maxx Crosby

Packers’ defense is one of the questions the organization need to address in the offseason.

They already have Pro Bowl honoree Rashan Gary but outside of him, improvement is needed.

This is why the possibility of Crosby coming to the Packers is a welcome news.

It would be nice to see him opposite Gary https://t.co/c5Qt7cQxr8

If I were #Raiders decision maker and the #Packers come calling about Maxx Crosby, my price:
–2025 & 2026 first round picks
–2025 2nd round pick
–2026 3rd round pick
–Rashan Gary

I hang up the phone if it’s anything less.
